How to Set up Avast Passwords

If you are setting up an Avast password for the first time, you will be prompted to activate the password in your web browser. If you skip the browser activation, you can set it in the Avast software later. Now, let’s see how to set up it.

Step 1: Launch Avast to go to its main interface. Then, click Privacy and Passwords.

Step 2: Click Get Started. There are 3 options - Activate in Avast Secure Browser, Activate in Google Chrome, and Activate in Firefox.

  • If you don’t want to use Avast Secure Browser, click Skip Avast Secure Browser activation.
  • If you do not use Google Chrome, click Skip Google Chrome activation.
