How to Clear Recently Played on Spotify on Desktop/Web
You need to notice that the option to remove individual songs and podcasts from the "Recently Played" section of your account is only available to users who haven't received the latest update. However, you still have the option to hide recently played songs and artists from your Spotify profile via settings.
Step 1: Launch Spotify on your PC or Mac.
Step 2: Scroll down to find Recently Played, and click See All.
Step 3: Locate the song, album, playlist, or podcast that you recently played.
Step 4: Hover over the cover of the desired media and click the three-dot icon, or right-click the cover. Then, choose Remove from Recently Played.
Note: Clearing the recently played list on your computer will remove this item from all other devices using the same Spotify account. Besides, this also removes the music from your mobile device's playlist.

How To Recover the Recently Played List on Spotify?
You can only retrieve playlists deleted within the past 90 days. Therefore, you cannot restore deleted playlists after three months.
Step 1: Launch Spotify’s desktop app and navigate your username in the upper right corner. Step 2: Click Account and select Recover playlists.
