Greenliant now is giving SATA 6 GB/s NANDrive EX Series ball grid array (BGA) solid state drives (SSDs) samples to customers who want superior data retention and high program-erase (P/E) cycles. Combined with advanced hardware ECC capabilities and NAND flash management algorithms of the NAND controller, EnduroSLC Technology has enhanced data retention and extended write endurance of 1-bit-per-cell (SLC) SSDs.

SATA 6Gb/s NANDrive features Greenliant’s DRAM-less controller, an algorithmic enhancement of accidental power-down data protection and provides four times the read and write performance of the previous generation SATA NANDrive.

SATA 6Gb/s SSDs support up to 32 commands of Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and use advanced NAND management techniques to optimize the device’s performance over its lifetime.

The SATA 6Gb/s NANDrive EX Series offers higher read/write performance and a wide range of hardware compatible (2 GB – 128 GB) products, ideal for high-performance computing, industrial, transportation, video and networking applications.

SATA NANDrive can withstand harsh environments and it can work in the temperature from -40 to +85 degrees Celsius. It also provides customers with long-life, high-reliability data storage. Greenliant is providing SLC (1 bit per unit) SATA 6Gb/s NANDrive EX Series SSDs for 50,000, 100,000 and 250,000 erasers for major users on select product engagements, and mass production is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2019. Based on 3D MLC (2 bits per unit), SATA 6Gb/s NANDrive MX Series solid state drives are also expected to be available in early 4th quarter of 2019 and will be mass produced at the end of the fourth quarter of 2019.
