#2. Respect the Rights of Others

You can only create emotes for which you have all the necessary rights. If you create emojis using another person’s unauthorized content, image, brand, or rights, you are violating Twitch’s policies. You may be asked to take down the involved emotes or even face a lawsuit.

The following are some examples of content that you shouldn’t make use of without authorization or permission.

1. Content that you don’t own or don’t have the rights to use on Twitch including but not limited to:

• Content and assets from other Twitch creators and channels.
• Others’ photos or artwork.
