On 23rd February 2023, SEGA and Relic Entertainment announce to release the PC edition of Company of Heroes 3 on Steam. Although Relic Entertainment confirms that it will release PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2023, it still has no official release date for the console edition of the game.

Relic and SEGA want to expand the audience for Company of Heroes 3 by bringing the game to console. To meets the high standards of the players, the two companies are working hard on releasing the game in the best possible state they can.

The PC edition and Console edition of Company of Heroes are almost the same but slightly different:

• The Console edition will feature full controller support.
• The Console edition will have no in-game Store or Challenges.
• The Console edition will not feature modding support.
• The Console edition will not contain any cross-platform features including cross-play or cross-progression.

Company of Heroes 3 PC Game Modes

How many game modes are there in Company of Heroes? There are 4 types of game modes available for you:

Multiplayer: play the game with online players.

Co-op vs. AI: play the game against the computer.

Italian Dynamic Campaign: a sandbox-style campaign that you need to make strategies on a Dynamic Campaign Map.

African Operation: this game mode includes 8 playable levels that you can experience a variety of scenarios. You will assault British defences, ambush convoys, strike behind enemy lines and defend your own positions.

Company of Heroes 3 PC New Features

There is a range of new tactics and battlefields in Company of Heroes 3. Here are 3 of the new features you can experience in this game:

• Artillery in CoH 3: Before entering the battle map, you are allowed to use air and artillery to attack the enemy army.
• Full Tactical Pause in CoH 3: If you are a console player, you can pause the action in the campaign so you will have time to pause the game and issue orders.
• New Commander System in CoH 3: Company of Heroes provides you with a commander system which offers suggestions and recommends different plans of attack to win the game.
