Tip 1. Update Computer Audio Device Driver

• You can press Windows + X and select Device Manager to open Device Manager in Windows 10.

• Right-click your audio device and select Update driver to update the audio device driver.
• You can also click Uninstall device option, and then click Action at the toolbar and choose Scan for hardware changes to reinstall a new driver for audio device.

Tip 4. Troubleshoot Computer Sound Problems

Windows 10 has a built-in Troubleshooting tool helping you troubleshoot and repair Windows 10 problems.

You can right-click the Sound icon at the bottom-right corner of computer screen, and click Troubleshoot sound problems. After a few seconds, it will ask you to select the audio device you’d like to troubleshoot issues. Choose your audio device and follow the instructions to let Windows Troubleshooter to automatically detect and fix the sound problems.
