End Cortana Task and Restart
The first way to fix when the web view is not showing up is to close Cortana and relaunch it in Task Manager.

- Choose Task Manager. Here, Processes tab will be selected by default.
- Scroll down to find Cortana task, which is visible to everyone.
- Right click on Cortana and choose End task from the menu.
- Open Cortana and search again to see if the Web View is working now.
Use Troubleshooter
If Cortana not searching issue still occurs, please try the Troubleshooter.
- Hold start + I buttons to open Settings window.
- Choose Update & Security.
- Shift to Troubleshoot from left pane.
- Select Windows Store Apps under Find and fix other problems section from the right pane.
- Click Run the troubleshooter.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to finish.
Change Search Filter Level
- Open Settings window.
- Select Cortana.
- Shift to Permissions & History on the left side panel.
- Find SafeSearch section on the right side panel.
- Choose a filter level from Strict, Moderate, and Off.
Reset Cortana
If the problem persists after trying above methods, you may need to reset the Cortana program.
- Open the Windows 10 Settings App.
- Navigate to Apps and then App & features.
- Find Cortana on the right side panel and select it.
- Click on the Advanced options button.
- Find Terminate section and click on the Terminate button.
- Find Reset section and click on the Reset button.
This is able to fix the Cortana related problems effectively. However, the settings of Cortana will be changed.
Re-register and Reinstall Cortana
