Facebook enables screen sharing and empowers its Messengerapp with yet another amazing attribute! This certainly is a piece of good news for its 1.3 Bn users.
Messenger Rooms, Workplace, or any other Facebook video-calling apps now let you browse tabs, photos, videos, and even more during your video calls.
Earlier, the feature was launched for desktop, but with the pandemic gracing people with work from home, Facebook has widened its screen-sharing feature. Now, one can access it via iOS and Android. However, the feature works differently for various devices. Mobile phones can share whatever is on their screen while desktop users have the option to choose to share selected applications or the entire desktop view.
Competing with Existing Players
Screen sharing is available globally, making Facebook a competition against leading video-calling applications such as Zoom, Skype, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. With the pandemic where many depend on technologies such as this to connect and socialize with the world outside, Facebook makes it easy for people to connect, socialize and work from the comfort of their homes.
This feature was welcomed by many!
Hold meetings, discuss work with colleagues, or catch up with friends and family, and relive your memories while flicking through your photos with high-resolution quality without disturbances.

While using a desktop and web you share with 50 people. Facebook is diligently working to expand their limits and roll it out to the world so that no one is excluded.

# Firstly, update your app to the latest version to avoid any further confusion. The screen sharing is available only after the required update. Desktop users do not have to worry about anything as this feature is not new for them.
