How to Backup Hyper-V Virtual Machines?

Method 1: Use Windows Server Backup

Windows Server Backup is a feature that provides backup and recovery options for Windows server environments. You can use this built-in feature to backup Hyper-V VMs.

Step 1: Open Server Manager and Click Manage to choose Add Roles and Features.

Step 2: Then click Next when a window pops up and choose Role-based or feature-based installation to click Next.

Step 3: Select Select a server from the server pool and click Next.

Step 4: On the Server Roles page, choose Next and on the Features page, check the Windows Server Backup option and click Next to install.
