Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 Preview

Microsoft releases a new Windows preview for computers with some improvements for Narrator since Microsoft will release the October 2018 update later of this year. So Microsoft decides to make some changes and improvements on the Narrator ahead of the October 2018 update.

And Windows 10 has been developed as a service. It means that it should receive some new features regularly. In addition, Microsoft has released five versions of Windows 10 update.

Here, there are some changes in Narrator including reliability, Scan mode, Quickstart and Braille. The new Windows 10 preview also has changed the “Move to beginning of text” keystroke to Narrator + B (was Narrator + Control + B) and changed “Move to end of text” keystroke to Narrator + E (was Narrator + Control + E). And these changes have changed on the RS5 branch.

And there some improvements have been made on the desktop build.

The new Windows 10 preview has fixed an issue resulting in Notepad’s “Search with Bing” feature searching for “10 10” instead of “10 + 10” if that was the search query and an issue where accented characters would end up as question marks in the resulting search.

It also fixes the problem that pressing Ctrl +0 to reset a zoom level in Notepad isn’t effective if the 0 is typed on the keypad.

The new Windows 10 preview has fixed the problem that the minimized apps have squished thumbnails in the Task View. It also has solved the problem that apps in the tablet mode are clipped.

The Windows 10 preview has solved the problem the taskbar would stay on top of full-screened if you had previously hovered over any group taskbar icon to bring up the extended lit of previews.

The Windows 10 preview has made some improvements on this issue the icons in the Microsoft Edge extension were drawing unexpectedly close to the toggles.

The new Windows 10 preview has made improvements on the issue that the Narrator key is set to just Insert and fixed the problem the title will be spoken more than once in the Narrator’s automatic dialog reading window.

It also has made some improvements on the issue that Narrator won’t read the combo boxes until Alt + down arrow is pressed.
