Redstone 5 Is Officially Named Windows 10 1809

At the same time, Neowin finds that Microsoft has introduced the official version number to the Preview Build and officially confirmed the next Windows version to be Windows 10 version 1809.
As with previous versions since Windows 10 version 1507 in July 2015, these four numbers refer to the way of encoding the expected date that will be released to the public by Microsoft.
In other words, this version will arrive in September and probably it is released in October at latest. For example, the updated version number in April 2018 is v1803, which was pushed on April 30.
The new version number that is spotted by Neowin appears in the Windows Insiders preview. Although most Windows users probably don’t pay attention to the new version number, it does indicate that Microsoft is wrapping up the test phrase for this feature update.
Microsoft will start to test next version of Windows 10 for insiders who have chosen Skip Ahead previews based on new date-based ’19H1′ codename rather than Redstone.
