iPhone 13 Design – Ultra-wide Camera

For the changes on the camera of iPhone, there are resized camera bumps and increased thickness (slightly thicker) of the iPhone 13 and 13 Pro compared to its predecessors, which is perhaps for accommodating forthcoming camera upgrades such as lidar and ProRaw.

There is also a slight change in the camera module between iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 13 Mini. It displays two lenses situated diagonally from one another for iPhone 13 Mini instead of the one atop the other in iPhone 12 Mini.

iPhone 13 could feature at least 3 major new camera and video features. It could provide the video version of Portrait Mode, a higher quality option to record videos called ProRes, and a new filter system to enhance the look and color of pictures.

Besides, iPhone 13 could improve its night-mode photo qualities by adopting an ultrawide-angle lens with a larger aperture – f1.8 instead of f2.4. A larger aperture indicates that more light can hit the sensor, which makes for better photos at night or in low-light environments.
