Micron Has Launched the World’s First 1TB Micron SD Card

SD card, whose full name is Secure Digital card, is a non-volatile memory card format developed by the SD Card Association for use in portable devices. And there are many different SD card brands in the world.

And recently, Micron company, which is designed to research and develop computer products, semiconductors, and other related products, has announced the world’s first 1TB Micro SD card. And this Micron SD card is the Micron C200 SD card. Its hard drive capacity is ranging from 128GB to 1TB which enables users to save up to 40 hours of 4K HDR video, thousands of 40MP+ photos and mobile apps. And it also is used on other mobile electronic devices.

The Micron C200 SD card takes advantage of Micro’s advanced 96-layer 3D qual-level cell (QLC) NAND. And it is available in the form factor of micro SDHC and microSDXC UHS-I.

Engineered for high-performance mobile applications, the Micron C200 SD card meets the A2 App Performance Class specifications, improving users’ experience for Android Adoptable storage by enabling games and applications installed in the card to load faster.

In addition, this Micron memory card also has good performance. Its sequential read speed and write speed can reach up to 100MB/s and 95MB/s. Its random performance for the read and write respectively are 4000IOPS and 2000IOPS, meeting UHS-I Speed Class 3 and Video Speed Class 30 specifications.

With this large storage size of Micron memory card, users can choose to save pictures, documents, videos or other files to this Micron SD card so that it can release more free space of their devices so as to improve the performance of devices.

In addition, this Micron C200 SD card should be operated in the temperature ranging from -25 degrees to 85 degrees. And it should be stored in the temperature ranging from -40 degrees to 85 degrees.
