Recently, Biostar has announced that it adds Windows 7 support to its latest range of Intel and AMD motherboards, leaving those still hanging onto the old but well-loved OS to be happy. In this post, we will show the specific models, as well as how to run Windows 7 on AMD and Intel motherboards.
Biostar Announces Windows 7 Support for AMD and Intel Motherboards
Now, Windows 10 has been on the scene for nearly four years and it is the primary supported operating system for most current generation motherboards. And the support for older version of Windows is neglected, helping drive Microsoft’s push for Windows 10.
However, Biostar has recently announced its latest range of AMD and Intel motherboards (A10N-8800E and H310MHG) will include Windows 7 support. For many home, office, schools and government organizations, Windows 7 remains to be the second most-used Windows operating system. Now, this good news leaves those organizations to rejoice.
Although Microsoft will end Windows 7 support and security updates on January 14, 2020, users can still keep their machines safe with the SHA-2 Security Update. For legacy OS users, it is vital to install this security update. If users don’t install this update, they will not be offered Windows updates after July 16, 2019, which makes the machines vulnerable.
For advanced data security, the Biostar H310MHG motherboard comes with a TPM header for TPM modules, which makes it perfect for government organizations that has a need for the highest level of data security. And TPM modules are used along with other security technologies, including antivirus software, smart cards, firewalls, biometric verification, etc.
Biostar AMD and Intel motherboards are completely compatible with Windows 7 OS, which is suitable for home, business and government use. And they deliver superb reliability with the latest security updates and technologies by working together with Microsoft.
In short, Biostar offers stable, durable and affordable motherboards, ensuring reliability and security for building Windows 7 desktop PCs.
