File Association

The new released Windows 10 Build 17763.168 fixed the annoying File Association bug in the old bug.

This issue was firstly discovered in the last month. According to the reports, when this issue happened, it will prevent users from changing the default applications for some certain file type no matter which way they were using to change the default settings.

In November, the company addressed this issue and began to make some beta test in Insiders to fix this issue. Finally, the earlier time of this month, Microsoft rolled out this new version with the File Association fixed to the affected machines.

“Addresses an issue that prevents some users from setting Win32 program defaults for certain app and file type combinations using the Open with… command or Settings > Apps > Default apps.”

Brightness bug

Another bug is that the brightness feature can’t work normally.
