Method 1: Scan for Viruses And Malware

You can donwload and install professional anti-virus software on your computer. Then, you can use it to scan for malware and viruses on your computer. Method 2: Restore the Registry Key for Windows Update

Another cause of Windows Update Service is the lack of the registry key for Windows Update. You can restore it to have a try.

1. Press Win+R to open Run.

12. Open the reg file. If you see the User Account Control interface, you need to click Yes to continue.
