In the past, Kano produced some DIY computers powered by its own operating system. This time, partnered with Microsoft, a new Kano PC powered by Windows 10 comes to the public.
Kano’s DIY PC aims to teach kids how to assemble computer, code, make art, music, games by their own to build their own Windows 10 laptop , perfectly combining learning and playing for kids. Kano Built-Your-Own Windows 10 PC – Features
Kano computer kits offers everything required to build a computer. The new Kano PC provides an easy way for kids to assemble and create their own Windows 10 computer, aiming to engage and educate young kids with technology while having a lot of fun. Kids can learn to assemble the computer and connect all the various parts together with step-by-step instructions in the storybook, as well as learn the basics of circuit boards and PC components.
Aside from computer assembly skills, Kano PC also teach Kids coding skills. Kids can learn from an app called “How Computers Work” which can teach them to code and create emoji with binary code. An education edition of Minecraft is also included in this Kano PC. Kids can type code, learn about programming, logic, loops, and variables with Python, JavaScript and Terminal commands.
Kano’s own exclusive apps are built in in Kano build-your-own Windows 10 PC, including Kano App, How Computers Work, Make Art, etc. Kano App enables anyone to learn to code art, games and music. How Computers Work app teaches kids to play with processors, binary, sounds and touch. Make Art app teaches young people to draw beautiful images using typed code.
Besides, many other apps from Microsoft Store now can also run on this Kano DIY Windows 10 PC, including Paint 3D, Microsoft Teams, etc. Paint 3D encourage people to create 3D models. Microsoft Teams can let users to share works with others.
