  2. Turn off the device -> unplug it from the router (modem).
  3. Unplug the router (modem) from power -> wait for 30 seconds or more.
  4. Plug in the router (modem) -> wait until the indicator lights are blinking on.
  5. Plug in the Xbox One/360 and turn it on to try Netflix again.

Step 4: check DNS settings & modify it if possible.

Check DNS settings:

  1. Press Menu -> select Settings -> select All Settings.
  2. Choose Network -> Network settings -> Advanced settings.
  3. Select DNS settings and make sure Automatic is selected.
  4. Press B to confirm and try Netflix again.

Use Google’s DNS:

  1. Press Menu -> select Settings -> select All Settings.
  2. Choose Network -> Network settings -> Advanced settings.
  3. Change the DNS settings to custom: set Primary IPv4 DNS to 8.8.8; set Secondary IPv4 DNS to 8.8.4.4. (If you’re using IPv6 protocol, please set them to 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220.)
  4. Save changes and restart Xbox One/360 to try Netflix again.

Step 1: go to check whether your network supports online streaming.

Step 2: test the network connection you’re using.
