Step 1: Get an ISO File of Windows 11

Updated in October 13, 2021:  the offical ISO file of Windows 11 is available on Microsoft's website. You can get it from this site and then start the installation of Windows 11.

To get an ISO file, you need to use the third-party tool called UUP Dump. It is an open-source tool that can download Windows preview builds directly from Windows Update servers and convert the packages to easy-to-install ISO files.

1. Go to the website and click Downloads.

2. You can see a list of builds with related information. Choose one build based on your PC’s architecture. My PC uses a 64-bit system, so I pick Windows 11 Insider Preview 10.0.22000.65 (co_release) amd64.

4. Select your Windows edition and click Next.

5. Check the option of Download and convert to ISO and Create download package.

6. Unzip this ZIP package and double-click the cmd file to get a Command Prompt window.

7. You should give the administrator permission and a Windows 11 preview build ISO file is being generated.
